So, the Hubs and I have once again made the invite list for the coolest Halloween party in town. It has it all. Decorations, fabulous food, an open bar. And the BEST and most clever costumes you can imagine! Last year, the Hubs and I went as the Mad Hatter and Alice Cooper.
Little Son said I should be a princess this year. Because “they’re pretty.” He is going as Batman. So is his little sister.
“She can’t be Batman,” he mocked.
“Wanna bet?” I asked. “Girls can be anything they want to be.” So I glittered up a Batman mask and added a tutu to her “classic” grey and yellow Adam West Batman costume. She wrinkled her nose at the glitter. Harumpff.
